Emergency? Call 704-750-1245. An emergency is an active leak that is causing damage, glass that is cracked or loose, or a door that slips, sags or will not stay secure. Stop using the enclosure.

Please send photos. Leaks are rare, but water can find a way even in a properly installed enclosure. A photo of exactly where the water appears lets us tell right away whether it is a clamp, a seal, or a door that has settled and needs resetting. Send a wide shot of the enclosure and a close-up of the spot. A short video of the leak is even better; text it to 704-750-1245.

Add up to 8 photos. Each photo must be 25 MB or smaller, and all photos together must be under 95 MB.

Report problems within 30 days of discovering them, with your name and the project address. We take warranty concerns seriously and give requests prompt attention during normal business hours. We will contact you to discuss the concern and repair or replace covered items. Work that is not covered will be quoted before we proceed. Prefer email? [email protected]. Submitting a request does not by itself establish coverage.

This is the warranty text issued with every installation. Your own warranty document lists your installation date and hardware.

    One-Year Installation and Plastics Coverage

For one year from the original installation date, Lincoln Shower Door will repair or replace defects in its installation workmanship, and plastic sweeps, seals, strips and other plastic components it supplies and installs, that fail during normal intended use. Covered service includes necessary replacement parts and labor at no charge. Damage caused by misuse, improper cleaning, alteration or removal is excluded. Replacement of plastics after the first year is maintenance and may incur a charge.

    Water Leakage and Intended Use

Lincoln Shower Door will correct leakage caused by defects in its installation during normal showering use consistent with the enclosure's intended design and configuration. Coverage includes improperly sealed stationary-panel joints and incorrectly installed or adjusted doors, hardware, sweeps or seals.

Shower enclosures contain ordinary shower spray and runoff but are not watertight. Water escape caused by a handheld wand, showerhead, body jet or other concentrated stream directed into or through door clearances, overlapping sliding panels, hinges, tracks, channels, jambs, seals or drainage openings, whether intentional or accidental, is excluded when those components are properly installed and functioning as designed. Water dripping from a wet door when opened is normal.

Leakage caused by alterations to the original configuration, or by defects in the shower pan, waterproofing, tile, floor or curb slope, backing or building structure outside Lincoln Shower Door's work, is excluded. These exclusions do not eliminate coverage for defective installation.

    Hardware Manufacturer Warranty

Lincoln Shower Door offers only hardware lines that carry at least a three-year manufacturer's limited warranty. Longer coverage, including limited lifetime coverage, may apply depending on the selected product. The manufacturer and warranty length for your hardware are listed on your warranty document. Manufacturer terms and exclusions apply, and manufacturer coverage does not extend Lincoln Shower Door's one-year service-labor coverage. Labor, travel, removal, shipping and reinstallation outside that coverage may incur charges, which will be disclosed before service.

    Glass and Project Acceptance

Acceptance means the customer's signature on the Lincoln Shower Door project sign-off sheet. After acceptance, this warranty excludes glass breakage, chipping, scratches and staining, except where caused by defective installation. This exclusion does not disclaim applicable implied warranties or other rights provided by law.

If a door slips, sags, rubs, strikes another surface or develops loose hardware, stop using the enclosure and contact us right away. Glass or other damage that results from continued use after you notice the condition is not covered.

    Tile, Stone and Surrounding Construction

Lincoln Shower Door is not responsible for cracked or chipped tile, stone or other surfaces, or for damage to concealed pipes, wiring or heated floors, caused by hidden conditions such as voids behind tile, unsupported tile, concealed items in the wall or inadequate backing. Tile that is not fully bonded to its setting bed, leaving a hollow spot or void behind it, can crack when drilled, and these voids cannot be seen beforehand. Hardware must be anchored to solid backing, and failures caused by missing or inadequate backing or by conditions behind the wall are not covered.

    Other Exclusions

Mineral deposits, hard-water staining, mold and mildew; normal variation or wear in hardware finish; fire, flood, earthquake and other events outside our control; and damage caused by repair or alteration by anyone other than Lincoln Shower Door. This warranty applies to projects paid in full.

Who Is Covered and Transfer to a New Owner

This warranty covers the owner of the property where the enclosure was installed, including a homeowner whose enclosure was purchased through a builder, contractor or designer. If the property is sold, the remaining coverage may transfer to the new owner. To transfer, email [email protected] within 60 days of the change of ownership with the project address, the new owner's name and contact information and the date of sale, along with a $50 administrative fee. A transfer does not restart or extend the coverage period. If a transfer is not filed, Lincoln Shower Door may decide at its discretion whether to honor a claim, and will quote any service before proceeding.

    Limits of This Warranty

Our remedy under this warranty is repair or replacement of the covered item. To the extent permitted by law, Lincoln Shower Door is not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including water damage to surrounding construction, mold or loss of use, and its total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid to Lincoln Shower Door for this project. This limit does not apply to personal injury or to any liability that cannot be limited by law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limit may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.

    Care

Use mild, non-abrasive cleaners consistent with the manufacturer's care instructions. Squeegee the glass and dry hardware after use. Stop using the enclosure if glass is damaged, loose or contacting another hard surface.
